Engineered and handcrafted in Japan, the Deps Sakamata Shad Heavy Weight Soft Jerkbait delivers identical performance to the original Sakamata Shad but with increased weight from added salt. Its hydrodynamic shape and profile enable anglers to target depths beyond the water column and facilitates casting. The bait's unique design functions with a side-to-side darting action, able to be activated with slight rod tip twitches. Keeled fins along the head direct water and the bait downwards, resembling the fleeing of a shad from predators. In addition, those fins stabilize the bait when paused, making it remain level for an optimal descent. Moreover, the heavy salt content infused into the body results in a subtle wiggling action on the fall, similar to that of a soft stickbait.
Molding a deep groove into the belly and featuring hook slots along the back, the Deps Sakamata Shad Heavy Weight Soft Jerkbait is designed for improved hook penetration and to display the hook point for weedless rigging. It is effective when used weightless or with a split shot rig or Carolina-rig for targeting deeper fish. Offered in a variety of colors and sizes, this soft jerkbait ensures a fresh look for fish and heavier catches for anglers.

It depends on where you are. We have a commitment to have all orders picked and fufilled within 1 business day. If your order is placed before 2pm EST it will be fulfilled the same business day. Standard parcels are usually delivered within 1-5 business days and Express parcels are delivered within 1-2 business days. Delivery details and tracking information will be provided in your confirmation email.
We offer free standard shipping for all USA orders over $75 (with the exception of rods & oversize items)
If your order does not qualify for free shipping, you can see the calculated cost of shipping at checkout. (Shipping cost will be shown before you enter payment information).

We use a solid protective rod tube wrap your rod to ensure it will be safe during transit. We also outline to our carrier that these packages are fragile.
